The Florida Keys History and Discovery Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit operating the only comprehensive history center in the Upper Keys. Corporate partners make our work possible — and in return, their names travel with every exhibit, event, and program we share.

The Center sits at Mile Marker 82 on the Islander Resort property — one of the most traveled stretches of the Overseas Highway. Every partnership is shaped personally with our development team. These are the most common starting points.
Exhibit sponsorship
Put your name on the exhibits that anchor a visit — from the railroad and the 1935 hurricane to the coral reef and the sport fishing legacy of Islamorada. Exhibit sponsors are recognized on signage, on keysdiscovery.com, and in the annual impact report.
Event sponsorship
Our signature fundraisers — the Hoedown and the Kentucky Derby Party — are the social events of the Upper Keys calendar, drawing supporters from across the island chain. Sponsors reach an engaged local audience at exactly the moment goodwill is highest.
Lecture series sponsorship
Our lecture series brings authors, historians, and scientists to the Keys. Sponsoring the series aligns your business with learning and ideas, and keeps these evenings free or affordable for the community.
Kids' Discovery Camp and education
Fund hands-on learning for Keys kids — camp scholarships, school group visits, and discovery programming. Education partners are among the most visible and most appreciated names in the building.
Annual support
Year-round corporate support sustains everything above it. Annual partners are recognized on the lobby donor display, on our website, and in the annual impact report, and their support counts toward the Keys Heritage Ledger.

One ladder, from Sunset to Visionary
Community and Corporate levels form one ladder — increases within the year count toward the higher level, and benefits are cumulative. One Heritage Share is earned for every $500 paid, credited to the business.

- Corporate partnership support counts toward the Keys Heritage Ledger, our permanent record of cumulative support.
- Recognition can usually be tailored — signage, event naming, website and social features, and exhibit-level presence.
- Our financials & governance page shares how the Foundation is run and how gifts are stewarded.
- Gifts are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Any benefits provided may reduce the deductible portion; our written acknowledgment will describe them.
